BOSTON, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- A bachelor who called himself a "father figure" to four young girls has been charged with 12 counts of animal cruelty for making home movies of the girls after allegedly paying them to burn, decapitate, puncture and smash more than 100 mice, goldfish and salamanders over a six-year period.
Law enforcement officers with the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty To Animals (MSPCA) called the tortures and mutilations some of the cruelest and most bizarre acts of animal abuse they've investigated in the past decade.
