$6M DPSC Wool Contract Is Awarded to Forstmann
The Defense Personnel Support Center in Philadelphia has awarded Forstmann & Co. with a contract for nearly half-a-million yards of wool melton cloth worth over $6 million.
The woolen mill, based here, will provide 494,000 yards of the navy blue wool cloth at a price of $6,392,360. The scheduled delivery period begins Nov. 26 and runs through Oct. 22, 1987.
In other Defense Support Center textile contracts, Ack-Ti Lining Inc., also of New York, will deliver 11,000 yards of 4.8 oz. nylon/wool bunting cloth for $82,280 beginning Dec. 27, 1986 and ending Jan. 26, 1987.
