Indonesia has been importing polyester yarn and nylon from a number of countries such as Germany, Switzerland, and Denmark in Europe and Japan, Hongkong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan in Asia. South Korea and Taiwan have been the largest suppliers. According to data with the APSyFI, there are at least 8 South Korean and 6 Taiwanese polyester yarn producers exporting to Indonesia.
