The Institute for Politial & International Studies (IPIS) of Tehran proposed a gas pipeline loop within Iran and a presentation on this was made at the 7th Annual APS Conference held in Larnaca on Sept. 27-29. The following are excerpts from the presentation by Dr. Mohammad Sarir, head of the energy research unit at IPIS, and Dr. Narsi Ghorban, a senior IPIS energy researcher.
