He's Rob Cohen, third generation of the Greenstone clan, retailers of children's clothing in Brooklyn since 1919. And at age 32, he's the proud owner of 4-1/2-year-old Greenstone Et Cie.
"It is a haberdashery, a clothing store that just happens to be for kids. There are no stars, hearts and balloons," says Cohen, emphasizing that he does not want to qualify his store -- a pioneer in the ongoing gentrification of the Upper West Side -- as just another children's specialty shop.
