MIAMI, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Southeast Banking Corp. (NYSE: STB) today reported 1986 third quarter net income of $22.6 million, a 22 percent increase over the same quarter last year.

This was the fifth consecutive quarter Southeast has reported an increase in net income.

Primary earnings per share for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1986, were $1.15, a 17 percent increase over the 98 cents reported for the same quarter last year.
