Twelve leaders of the American Jewish Congress depart from Kennedy Airport Sunday night, Oct. 19, to travel to Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union where they will meet with members of Jewish communities in Iron Curtain countries.

The members of the mission will stop in Bucharest; Moscow; Krakow; and Warsaw. In Moscow, they will meet with Soviet "Refuseniks" and will try to meet with government officials on the issue of Jewish immigration.
