CHICAGO, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyatt Regency DFW begins operations today at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the result of the purchase of the former Amfac Hotel & Resort by a joint venture between affiliates of Hyatt Development Corporation, Chicago, and Woodbine Development Corporation, Dallas/Ft. Worth.

The 1,390-room, two-towered hotel, with extensive golf, tennis and other resort facilities and 130,000 square feet of meeting space, will be operated by Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
