French Firm Develops Robotic T-Shirt Sewer PARIS (FNS) -- Fives-Cail-Babcock (FCB), a large French manufacturer of automatic transfer machines, has developed a robotic system that is said to reduce from 10 to 3 or 4 seconds the time needed to sew up a T-shirt, eliminating between 2.5 and 3 operators.
