'Not a panacea for all our problems' Q Admiral Crowe, what's behind the growing debate over the role of Special Forces?
Many of the people I deal with--even in Congress and in the military--demonstrate a lot of confusion as to what Special Forces are and what they do. Many people believe what we call low-intensity conflict should be handled by Special Forces alone. I don't agree, because Special Operations Forces are not designed to cover the full range of challenges we face on the low end of the conflict scale.
