State-owned gas supply company Perum Gas Negara (PGN) will implement five natural gas transmission line projects starting in 1996. The total length of the transmission line will be 2,012 kms with the following breakdown: 540 kms for the transmission of gas from Corridor Block (Asamera) in South Sumatera to the Caltex fields in Duri, Riau and to the industrial zone on Batam Island; 500 kms for the transmission of gas from sources in Palembang to Pertamina's Exploration and Production Unit II in Cilegon; 270 kms for the transmission of gas from Sengkang to Ujungpandang; 425 kms for the transmission of gas along the nothern parts of West Java; and 277 kms for the transmission ...
