NEW YORK, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Westifield Holdings Limited of Sydney, Australia, today confirmed that it is acquiring for approximately $363.5 million the Macy Acquiring Corp. subsidiaries that own three shopping centers located in New York, New Jersey and California, and a 44-acre development tract in New Jersey.
With this acquisition Westfield -- one of Australia's largest property developers -- becomes one of the three largest Australian corporate investors in the United States.
