Up to now, Indonesia has continued to import water pumps in increasingly high quantities to meet most of domestic demand. One reason for the increases in such imports is that the domestic demand for water pumps has continued to grow, especially with the continued development of housing compounds and real estates. Another reason is that the domestic water pump industry is still an assembling industry.
