The highest levels of cell attachment for gingival epithelial cells were observed on rough osteoceramic surfaces, whereas gingival fibroblasts attached least to rough osteoceramic surfaces. In vitro gingival epithelial and fibroblast cell attachment to ceramic materials made of tricalcium phosphate and/or magnesium aluminate spinel were examined.
