Oil Marketers Must Take Some Responsibility for Insurance Troubles
IT'S ABOUT time that oil marketers themselves take some responsibility for their current problems in the insurance industry "crisis'.
Premiums have escalated, often spectacularly, coverage availability has shrunk during the past year and many oil marketers are taking the position that it is they who are the victims of insurance company mismanagement and/or trial lawyer greed. They act as if the situation caught them by surprise and call for government intervention as their main hope for relief.
