"Project PEACE (Pipeline Extending from Asian Countries to Europe) proposed by the IPIS was based on using and expanding the existing pipeline network currently in existence and operational in Iran and constructing additional pipelines to be able to connect the Iranian network to Central Asia, Persian Gulf states, Azerbaijan, Nakhishevan, Armenia, and Turkey. An extensions from this loop to the east could supply Pakistan and India, while in the west construction of a pipeline from Turkey to Europe would have completed the pipeline link between Asia and Europe.
