Markku Piri's Textile Theater
Presenting his men's wear collection to American press and buyers in a theater setting using dancers, actors and opera singers as models doesn't strike Finnish designer Markku Piri as an odd coupling of disparate disciplines. "I have worked in dance theater production in Finland including costume design so this comes quite naturally to me".
