Medco Research Inc. of Research Triangle Park anticipates launching its new drug Adenoscn(R) new drug Adenoscn(R) in the next few months through its original partner, Fujisawa, USA. Medco had planned to launch the drug through Abbott Laboratories after terminating an initial agreement with Fujisawa when FDA investigations into the drug manufacturer delayed Adenoscan's commercialization. However, a U.S. District Court in Illinois, ruling on an injunction request by Fujisawa, allowed Fujisawa to be Medco's Adenoscan commercial partner under the original agreement.
