Enron Art Foundation Donates Collection
Enron Corporation chairman Kenneth L. Lay announced that the Enron Art Foundation has donated its Maximillian-Bodmer Collection to the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha. The collection is appraised at $14 million.
"By donating the Maximillian-Bodmer Collection to Joslyn, we can ensure it remains in the public view and resides in a location more appropriate to its historical underpinnings,' Lay said. "With Enron's recent relocation of its headquarters and most of its operations to Houston, the board of the Enron Art Foundation felt it appropriate to formally transfer the ownership of this collection to Joslyn.
