Cofounder of an investment-management firm, Rogers amassed a personal fortune and then retired at age 37. He is now a professor of finance at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Q Professor Rogers, is the lvan Boesky scandal an isolated event or a sign of widespread abuse on Wall Street?
Neither. Boesky is not the only one to use insider information, nor is such activity that widespread on Wall Street. However, insider dealings are on the increase.
