MIAMI, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Burger King Corp. announced today that it will donate $100,000 to the New York City Parks Department and the New York Philharmonic for improvements to the portable sound system used for concerts in all New York City parks.
On behalf of J. Jeffrey Campbell, chairman and chief executive officer of Burger King Corp., Joel Weiss, senior vice president, strategic analysis, will present a check to Zubin Mehta, music director of the New York Philharmonic, and New York City Parks Commissioner Henry Stern, who will accept the gift on behalf of the orchestra and city.
