LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The American specification Range Rover -- a four-wheel drive sport/utility vehicle, whose owners, according to Range Rover of North America Inc., include royalty, sportsmen, explorers and business executives -- is to be unveiled to the American public for the first time at the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show on Jan. 3, 1987.

This is the first Range Rover to be made exclusively for the American market. The Range Rover will become available to the public in March 1987 at a price of around $30,000, with a complete range of comfort and convenience features as standard equipment. Leather upholstery will be the only option.
