Zinc oxide is a chemical product which is widely used as an additive by the tire, paint, ceramic, and cosmetic industries. Although a number of zinc oxide producers have been operating in Indonesia, their combined output has not been large enough to meet domestic demand. This condition seems to have encourage one zinc oxide producer to make a plan on expanding its production capacity.
