Summary: The British 'green' group Council for the Protection of Rural England (CPRE) would like to have the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 'greened' as well, not just in spirit but in chapter and verse. Its report "Firm Foundations" calls on next year's Inter-Governmental Conference on institutional reform to seize the opportunity to rewrite the founding articles of agricultural policy in the EU Treaty.
