BEIJING, China, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- DHL International Limited, the international arm of DHL Worldwide Express, signed an agreement with China Foreign Transportation Corporation - Sinotrans to establish a joint venture company.
This is the first air express joint venture to be established in the People's Republic of China.
The new company, to be known as DHL Sinotrans, will commence operations in Beijing this week. The chairman of the joint venture will be Liu Fulin, vice president of Sinotrans.
