Jim Berry went on an African safari in 1980, and his life has never been the same. That trip with his father and brother engendered a love of exotic animals and areas in the Dallas-based stock-broker, who subsequently redirected his energies to found The Elephant Walk, Inc., a handbag and exotic leather accessories firm that in 1986 chalked up sales of $3,500,000.
