CHICAGO, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- First Chicago Corporation (NYSE: FNB) today reported record fourth quarter and full year net income.

Fourth quarter net income was $77.2 million, up 30 percent from $59.4 million a year ago. Net income per common share for the quarter was $1.32, compared with $1.04 in 1985.

For the full year 1986, net income was $276.2 million, up 63 percent from $169 million a year ago. Net income per common share for the year was $4.70, compared with $2.84 in 1985.
