TORONTO, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- 32-year old Doris Matthews of Hull, Mass., continues to make steady progress and her condition was today upgraded from serious to fair.
On Friday, Jan. 9, she underwent a double lung transplant at the Toronto General Hospital. Matthews, who was suffering from emphysema prior to the transplant was moved out of intensive care on Jan. 15.
