Industry's Environmental Record Should Ease Fears over ANWR
A RARE INSTANCE of unanimity seems to be developing among the U.S. petroleum industry on the initial suggestion by the Department of Interior to open the Arctic National Wildlife Reserve in Alaska to petroleum exploration. Not only do most industry segments want it to be done -- but those who know say it can be done without endangering the relatively pristine environment.
