EU oil prices have remained relatively stable over the past two weeks, according to February 19 figures from the European Commission's Energy Directorate-General DGXVII. Premium petrol, Euro-super and residual fuel oil prices hardly moved, although diesel prices gained ECU 5/1,000 litres and heating oil rose by ECU 18/1,000 litres. The latter clearly reflected plummeting temperatures in Western Europe.
