ALASKA EXPLORATION Inc. is taking a position on this issue based on a long history of involvement on the North Slope of Alaska. Affiliated companies of BPAE began work in Alaska 27 years ago, and were the original lease holders of a major portion of the Prudhoe Bay Field. BPAE affiliates began the development of Prudhoe Bay and still own a portion of Trans Alaska Pipeline. BPAE is now the second largest owner of the Kuparuk River Unit.
