North Carolina has a lot to offer emerging highgrowth industries -- a business-friendly climate, good quality of life, skilled work force and favorable construction costs. But a new report says it's low on one key ingredient: venture capital. Fortunately, several initiatives to augment capital availability promise to make North Carolina a more competitive business state.
