Speaking out from behind the mask of mime Actually, I love to talk. Words express feelings and provide images, and images give an understanding of people that creates philosophy. Unfortunately, you can also lie with words. In mime you cannot lie. You have to go to the action directly, deliberately. You see quicker--the eye perceives better--because mime is beyond words. Mime is like smelling a flower, a moment of silently breathing in the perfumes of life--the best and worst. And the audience has to create in its minds the worlds that it heard in silence.
