Leiber: A new signature
NEW YORK -- In an effort to attract a new customer, handbag designer Judith Leiber has introduced her first signature collection of bags, luggage and purse accessories for fall.
"The new line will give customers who cannot afford my evening bags a chance to purchase my bags. And it will give a new dimension to my line for my regular customers," said Leiber. Wholesale prices will range from $30 to $225 on the handbags.
Like all of Leiber's bags, the new signature group is unique. Her husband, artist Gerson Leiber, designed the signature print which has Leiber's initials, a purse and a belt buckle on it. "The signature ...
