Why They Hate Us
The latest around of hostage-takings in Beirut raisesvital questions that are left unanswered by the Reagan Administration's threats of reprisal and its attempts to duck responsibility by blaming the victims for remaining in Lebanon. Who are these people who have now captured three more Americans, two West Germans and an Indian resident of the United States, and who are behind the disappearance of the Anglican envoy Terry Waite? What do they have against the United States?
