Article: Profits up 53% at B.U.S

B.U.S Berzelius Umwelt-Service, the German multinational metal residues recycling and recovery group, reported a 53.2% increase in consolidated profits after tax to DM24.45 million ($16.3 million) for the year ended 30th September, 1996 (see HAZNEWS, January 1997, p. 6). The group's consolidated turnover rose 37.5% to DM336.17 million, compared with DM224.40 million ($156.6 million) in 1994/95, according to B.U.S' 1995/96 annual report.
