WASHINGTON, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- New Jersey Republic State Committee Finance Chairman Bo Sullivan today was named New Jersey state chairman of the George Bush for President Committee.
In making the announcement, National Campaign Manager Lee Atwater said, "Bo is widely admired and respected as a leader in New Jersey business and politics. He brings strength and unity to our efforts in the state."
In commenting on the appointment, Bush called Sullivan "a long-time friend and an experienced political leader." He said, "I have great confidence in Bo and am delighted to have him leading the New Jersey campaign."
