The Cuba-based cruise ship Melia Don Juan ended its weekly callings on Cayman Brac island at the end of February, said Ricardo Linares, of the Melia Hotel Co. a Madrid- based company that operates the cruise ship. The ship will however, continue its weekly arrival on Grand Cayman island, Linares said. The cancellation notice came two months ahead of the original six months trial period for the cruises that began in November, 1996.
