NORTH FT. MYERS, Fla., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Twistee Treat Corporation (NASDAQ: TWST) today announced the signing of letters of intent with four investor groups for the development of an additional 585 Twistee Treat Ice Cream Stores in western New York, California, North Carolina, South Carolina and Texas.
R. G. "Skip" Skinner, chairman of the board and chief executive officer said, "Current area development commitments call for a minimum of 83 locations to be opened in the next 12 months with the remaining stores to be completed by 1989. Site selection and initial franchise development is underway in each state."
