The "Regulations on Pesticide Management' signed by Pre mier Li Peng started to be implemented on May 8. A new page is turned in the management of China's pesticide industry. There are 8 chapters and 48 articles in the document, specifying management methods in registration, production, circulation and application of pesticides. The document will greatly help ensure: a sustained and sound development of China's pesticide industry.
