Based on the data provided by the Policy & Legislation Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, we have made the following analysis of the relations between the chemical industry in Hong Kong and that in mainland China.
1. The economy of Hong Kong has been gradually transformed into an open economy dependent on mainland China and characterized with a strong tint of "China concept".
With the further reform and opening up in mainland China, the economy of Hong Kong has gradually developed itself into an open economy dependent on mainland China.
