TREVOSE, PA., April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Betz Laboratories Inc. today announced the acquisition of the metal coil coating business of Amchem Products Inc. and the container coating business of Parker Chemical Co. from Henkel Corp., the U.S. subsidiary of Henkel KGAA of West Germany. The transaction positions Betz as the No. 2 supplier in both industries. The announcement was made by John F. McCaughan, chairman of the board and chief executive officer for Betz Laboratories Inc.
