HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Scientific Services & Systems Group of Wyle Laboratories (NYSE: WYL) today announced it has received a contract valued at $2 million from Morton Thiokol Inc. for test-support services to verify the structural integrity of the U.S. space shuttle solid rocket motor (SRM) cases.
"This program is part of the overall solid rocket motor redesign program," said William W. Holbrook, general manager of Wyle's eastern test and engineering operations, in announcing the contract award. "Our work will help verify that the goals of the redesign effort are being achieved."
