Editors make hay from advertising fiasco
Out of every evil comes some good, they say. "They' might be the editors of Tennis and Golf Digest.
While the advertising department of Golf Digest was smarting from the loss of more than $100,000 in ad revenue from a ne'er-do-well mail-order advertiser whose customers were screaming about being bilked out of approximately $2 million in golf equipment, editorial saw a good thing--an important story.
