Hanae Mori signs pact with Falchi
NEW YORK -- The latest apparel designer to put her name on a line of accessories is Hanae Mori. The designer has licensed her name to Carlos Falchi for a line of handbags and small leather goods that will be introduced Monday in the May market.
"This is the beginning of a more aggressive stance on licensing in the United States," said a spokesman for Hanae Mori. The designer has carried small amounts of accessories in her store only. This is the first time any of her accessories will be offered wholesale.
