WASHINGTON, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- In one of the more visible achievements of the Reagan/Gorbachev November 1985 Geneva Summit, both countries agreed to exchange cultural exhibitions.
In accordance with this agreement, the schedule for the Soviet traveling exhibition to tour the United States was released today.
The exchange exhibitions, being staged in both the Soviet Union and the United States to develop a mutual understanding between the peoples of both countries, are a direct result of an agreement signed in Geneva, Switzerland, by Secretary of State George Shultz and Soviet Foreign Minister Eduard Shevardnadze.
