Summary:
Anxious to ensure respect for all Community legislation in force in the European Union, and not least environment and nature conservation laws, the Commission has decided to pursue proceedings against three Member States accused of failing to implement the Wild Birds Directive: reasoned opinions, the second stage of infringement proceedings, have been sent out to Italy, Ireland and Portugal.
