H.B. FULLER IS STRENGTHENING its foothold in the European adhesives market by purchasing Datac Group, a privately owned adhesives manufacturer headquartered in Dukinfield, Cheshire, UK.
The acquisition includes the company's Datac Adhesives Ltd., a Dukinfield-based producer of industrial adhesives, and Datac Kiebstoffe GmbH, its sister operation based in Hildesheim, Germany. Datac also has distribution centers throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Datac has annual sales of approximately $33 million, primarily in water-based adhesives. The company's key markets include woodworking, packaging and converting. Datac's products are also used in laminating, ...
