MOODY'S RATES CHICAGO BOARD OF EDUCATION BONDS

NEW YORK, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective yesterday, Moody's Investors Service raised the ratings on the following:

Chicago Board of Education's general obligation bonds from Ba to Baa; the Chicago School Finance Authority from Baa1 to A; and the Chicago Public Building Commission bonds Series 1970, 1971, B, 1975 A, and 1976 A from Ba to Baa.

The rating revisions on the respective bondss of these three issuers are attributable to improvement in the Chicago Board of Education's credit position.
