/CAUTION/INDIANAPOLIS, June 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The first diabetes program in the nation to be cited for quality patient education was recognized today by the American Diabetes Association, which opened its 47th Annual Meeting here.
The Diabetes Treatment Center at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, was awarded formal ADA recognition for having met rigorous national standards designed to assure quality among diabetes patient education programs.
